Legendary actress and comedian Marsha Warfield's growth as an artist and a woman has far superseded her humble beginnings as the wisecracking bailiff on the long-running sitcom Night Court.
She has been entertaining audiences for close to four decades and has no intentions of slowing down. Her calm and smooth stand up routines have garnered her a strong following and has proven that she is a comedic mainstay while bringing her own style of funny.
After an overlong period of retirement, Marsha is back for “revenge,” tackling issues including politics, being black, coming out as a gay woman, and her affair with pizza.
Marsha lives in Las Vegas where she performs her show, The Marsha Warfield Experience, at L.A. Comedy Club at the Stratosphere Casino & Hotel.
Marsha Warfield is best known for her 1986–92 role of the tough, no-nonsense bailiff Roz Russell on the NBC sitcom “Night Court.” She also starred in the sitcom “Empty Nest” as Dr. Maxine Douglas, and as a performer on “The Richard Pryor Show.” She’s has appeared on shows like “Soul Train,” “The Arsenio Hall Show,” “The Tonight Show,” and even had a talk show of her own, appropriately titled “The Marsha Warfield Show.” She’s opened for acts like Esther Phillips, George Duke, Teddy Pendergrass, The O’Jays and George Carlin, has been nominated for NAACP Image and Soul Train Awards, and was featured in the Gladys Knight video, “Men.” Her guest appearances include “Cybill,” “The John Larroquette Show,” “Veronica’s Closet,” “Moesha,” “Living Single, “In Living Color,” “Smart Guy,” “Clueless,” “Cheers,” “Saved By The Bell,” and more.

Sienna MynxSienna Mynx was born in the beautiful city of Miami, Florida in 1971. She began writing at the early age of eight. The oldest of two children with a schoolteacher for a mother, she was taught the power of words and found countless adventures between the pages of a book. While other children her age shared an interest in music, sports, or even Girl Scouts, Sienna’s interests never varied. Reading was her passion.
By the age of 13, she created a private collection of drawings and short stories based on heroines she could identify with, but who lived in imaginative worlds far removed from her suburban upbringing. She’d share them with anyone who cared to read.
As a woman she adapted to the changes in her life by journaling and continue to explore her writing. Also an avid reader of romantic fiction and lover of television soap operas, Sienna adapted two distinct writing persona’s. T.A. Ford who is now a published author of sensual romance, and Sienna Mynx who explores the darker side of romance across genres. Currently Sienna has published over thirty multicultural romances total.
Sienna lives in southern Georgia and is the proud aunt of three. She is employed as an IT Professional for an technology company, and enjoys traveling, writing, and blogging.

“Give me a WORD.I'll give you a SENTENCE. Together, we'll write your STORY.”
FLuidity Content Writing (FCW), LLC was established in April 2018. Actually, it was established in my heart long before that as a young girl growing up on the sandy shores of Vero Beach, Florida. The name FLuidity was created to pay homage to my home state, which is why the FL is capitalized. The turquoise blue represents the water that surrounds it. Water is ever-flowing; it is fluid, without boundaries or limitations, and so is writing. Hence the name, FLuidity.
FCW is the pen to your paper. We hear the voices of our partners (partners versus clients, which is far too sterile for the relationships we build) and elevate them. Because our partners care, we care more. Their “why” matters to us because their “why” becomes our “what.” FCW is the sum of all parts. Our mission: Give us a word. We’ll give you a sentence. Together, we will write your story.
My name is Lynn Hall, and I am a writer. I have been gifted with the uncanny ability to merge my creative auspices with the voices of my partners to unveil to the world their brilliance. Their brilliance comes in shapes and sizes the world over that materialize in print. My sole purpose for establishing FCW was to create a space for people to feel empowered to share their stories in one way… their truth. FCW is their way of speaking with purpose and in the transparency it offers.
Since our establishment, FCW has written 111 blogs, 42 newsletters, 14 articles, 12 infographic designs, 11 resumes, 10 newsletter templates, 3 professional statements, managed 3 social media accounts and wrote three (3) books – two as a ghostwriter and one, Guilty Stains, that bears my namesake.
Guilty Stains is a labor of love borne out of pain. I wanted to share my story of pain and abuse and how that pain is made worse by locking arms with the lies of my past to protect the truth. In all actuality, we empower the very people who’ve hurt us and give them permission to continue doing so when we turn our backs to the truth. Rather than protect the victim, we protect the perpetrators. Within my family, we’ve believed and have conveyed for generations that family secrets must remain inside the confines of the dungeons and recesses where they occurred. I decided it was time to unlock arms with the lies and embrace the truth so that I can experience true freedom. I did not realize just how many people would come forward in solidarity and transparency because of my story. FCW and this body of work, my first published book, was the key that began to unlock the hearts and minds of many whose feet trod in footsteps similar to mine.
This is what makes FCW unique and sets it apart from other content writing companies. We are small but mighty. We think bigger than the dreams and visions of our partners. Our creativity allows their creative spirits to soar beyond what they imagined possible. We are now in the process of ghost writingthe second book in a science fiction trilogy. While this is not a genre for which we have been accustomed in the past, our clientele is growing, and with that, so are the services we are able to provide. Our partners have great faith in us and in our passion and ability to exceed their expectations. Because of that faith, they are referring more and more partners to us. That is the type of marketing that cannot be bought, and I will take that variety of acceptance and confidence every single time.
FCW offers the following professional consulting and writing services:
Business Plans & Proposals - You are the brand worth buying. We do the research. We do the writing from beginning to end. Share your vision, and we do the rest.
Consultative Writing - We are all writers in our own “write.” Sometimes, all it takes is a little guidance to get you moving in the “write” direction. Let us be your guide.
Contract Negotiations & Consulting - Contract negotiation can be one of the most rewarding, yet challenging skills that exist. We have more than 15 years’ experience in contract negotiation and have “sealed the deal” on large and small contracts. We keep the process simple and conventional to yield the best results for our partners.
Executive & C-Suite Resume Writing - It’s a done deal! We specialize in setting the BIG stage for your grand entrance. Trust us with the next phase of your Executive career. Our pens are ready to help you shine. Whether you need a refresh or a brand-new document, we excel and deliver.
Ghost Writing - As a published author, I know the process of writing your own book can seem challenging and daunting. We offer ghost writing services to write your story from Preface to Conclusion.
Grant Planning & Writing - There are, quite literally, millions of dollars in grant money waiting to be requested by you. We do the research. We do the planning, and we write “award-winning” proposals that become the bridge from yesterday to tomorrow for your business. Ask us how,NOW.
We are always ready, prepared and eager to receive new clients and to hear their “why.” Their “why” expands our “what.” We offer two different consultation services; the first service is a ‘Write’ Before We Speak” consultation. This is where we ask our partners (none of them are potential because if we speak with them for 10 seconds or 10 years, they are partners to us) to write a summary of their “why.” Then, we schedule a 15-minute complimentary conference call expounding upon that content. This gives us time to research, if necessary, and provide thoughtful information to allow for a generative discussion during our consultation and to determine if ours is a partnership that continues or concludes at that time. This personal touch is what allows us to convey our partners’ vision in a relatable way.

Working with Johanna Sparrow
Johanna Sparrow has worked with many professionals over the years and has built some wonderful relationships. Every writer needs a great team of experts who can help him-or-her produce a polished work of art.
Here are just some of the awesome experts I work with daily.
Life offers no sweet rewards when you’ve been hurt, but it does force you to face yourself. In a mirror of lies you’ve been told and you’ve told yourself, somehow convincing no one but you of their truth, you learn to let go of the past. You let go when your hands can no longer carry its secrets, you let go when you have given your all, and most importantly, you let go to be reborn. Decades of heartbreak has made me see myself, not my hurt or pain, but the beauty in me that’s always existed. The best me ever beneath the dust, rocks, and torment, finally rose up. I now see new colors in the world that once only offered a grey and black veil to look through. The colors pop like my old life and heartbreak is nowhere to be found.
I’ve been a published author since 2009 writing multicultural romance. My first book, Special Forces, was a story about a military guy in a contract marriage. Living in a military town and knowing a couple of females who were involved with this type of arrangement, I was off and running. Professionally, I was involved in Real Estate and knew if all the trades were in one company, it wouldn’t take long to build a house. During that time, the Governor of Michigan boasted of a training program for convicts in various trades that allowed them to become successful after prison. Those two factors led to the Men of 3X CONStruction, a 7 book series that originally had been planned for 3 books.
Afterward, I wrote various kinds of books that spoke to me about injustice, social perils, cross-starred lovers, paranormal, siblings and even a book about a male submissive. Variety keeps the creative juices flowing and me a happy person.
I read more than I write. I have varied interests and read everything, from historicals to Christian fiction to Sci-Fi. Good writing makes for great reads. Thanks for your interest and support over the years.

My marriage has been far from a fairy tale. Two people meet in a club at the ages of 21 and 22 and get married 6 months later! Does that sound like a match made in heaven?
Hey, there is nothing wrong with believing in love at first sight, but my husband and I had no business getting married.
I had a big mouth, daddy issues and was bossy as…well you know, but we did this marriage thing.
And that was kind of my attitude. Ok, I will do it, but if I don’t like it, I’ll quit. That’s what everyone around me did. My husband was in the military and I wanted to get out of San Antonio. I was raised in a house filled with big-mouth, bossy women who didn’t need a man, couldn’t keep a man and didn’t really want you to have one for too long either. So, off to see the world with my Prince Charming, right?
That’s not how the story goes. My marriage was a hot mess and after 8 years, my husband just left.
Who could blame him? I spent the first 8 years running him in the ground, talking about everything he did wrong. We had our son. I was working in my gift area: fashion and retail. My husband retired from the military and began a new career. I was coming home from my management job (always a boss) like normal. My husband’s car? Not there. My son’s closet is cleaned out. My husband’s clothes’ drawer? Empty. And instead of being hurt, I got angry. I called the police and told them that if he didn’t bring my baby back, I was gonna blah, blah, blah. He wasn’t taking my calls. We didn’t have any family in Maryland. His people are from Tennessee. Mine from Texas. How dare he?
I know it was God who stepped in and got him to be open to the idea that our marriage was worth it.
Yeah, God touched my husband’s heart first. I was still trying to be what I was – loud, disrespectful, demanding. My husband had changed though. He didn’t respond like before. He…he let a “gentle answer turn away wrath” and the arguing stopped. Now it wasn’t long before I started to see myself and see the damage that I had created in my marriage. Now, I got to get it together. With the help of God and great counselors, I learned to be the wife that God called me to be.
I spend my years now loving, supporting, lifting my husband up and putting my marriage at the top of my list.
And that’s what I help thousands of other wives do every day. See, my marriage survived the loss of a child, infidelity, financial hardship, loss of parents…you name it. We are still here 30 years later (and counting) and we grow in love daily; by choice and by applying the proven principles I teach. I know that these tests were not just for us. God used the tests to show me the path that He wanted for my life. He is why I left the industry and field that I loved to follow His lead.
I learned from my mistakes with the help of God and the love of my husband, and you can too!
I started Bringing Sexy Back To The Marriage (BSB) after realizing a huge void on behalf of the church. The unwillingness to talk about sex in marriage in church is forcing people to look outside of God’s word for answers. Trust me! You don’t want to do that. The world doesn’t want your marriage to be successful. They still show images of us wives being frumpy, bored, insecure. You know that ol’ ball-and-chain mess! Well, I’m not that! I am One Sexy Wife! And you will be too as you go through the site and get the answers to your burning questions.
Check out the Free Resources page where I have a Gratitude Challenge, a brand new ebook on Mind Blowing Sex and a free weekly live Wife Chat where I go live on Facebook every Tuesday with you and we just…chat.

She has a master’s degree in African American Studies and 3/4ths of a PhD in Sociology. When she’s not writing her dissertation, she’s procrastinating by thinking up more stories to tell. And binge-watching shows on Netflix. Her debut novel, Of Things Unseen, will be released in November of 2018.

"I want my characters to be relatable, as my own story is of trials, then triumph."
Life after blogging, pushed the dream of becoming an author to the forefront for author C.Monet. Never in a million years did a small town girl from Clarksville TN, expect to become an author of several books that are sprinkled with heroines, villains, charm, love, scandals and drama. With inspiration from books like A Piece of Cake by Cupcake Brown, and B More Careful, C. Monet's writing style grew into one filled with love and transparency. Once life started to happen for and around her she grabbed the pen and decided to unmute her truth. She pens love unfiltered and undefined because rules can't exist with creativity. Her characters give a piece of her that you just can't get from a bio. She creates characters that are relatable and convey a story of trials to triumph.
The poetry in the authors words take you to a place filled with dreams and aspirations of love and how it heals the soul. C. Monet is a lover of wine, cheesy movies, cupcakes and R & B music. While she loves to be home away from the noise of the word she can't help but be considered an introverted extrovert when the Sagittarius in her kicks in and kicks up. She's currently signed to B. Love, where she's released over 10 books and hopes to release plenty of more to provide the ultimate escape into a world between pages and words. Connect with her by subscribing to her website and following her on social media.

My word of the year dawned on me when I finally noticed the connection with a series of events that happened to 4 Black females who are in the public eye and had a stellar 2018. They all had something in common. To those who read my posts, you won’t be surprised by the first two: Michelle Obama and Meghan Markle. It’s the other two that are somewhat surprising: Tayari Jones and Kennedy Holmes.
Named in 2015 as a top ten historical romance novelist in Publisher's Weekly, Piper Huguley is the author of the Reconstruction era "Home to Milford College" series. She is a 2013 & 2014 Golden Heart finalist for two novels in the "Migrations of the Heart" series about the Bledsoe sisters and set in the early twentieth century.
In much of 2018 and before, I lived in fear. I was sporadic in my writing. I had loved ones who were ill. People who were supposed to love me spoke cruel words to me and I felt pained from what were intentional slights. I noticed silences on social media about my work and that also hurt. My father moved out of my childhood home, a place that had been my refuge for more than 3 decades. For so much of the year, I felt beaten down. Then, one day, after I fought through the haze of anger that I felt at Holmes’s loss, I finally understood what these amazing people had taught me.
That’s the victory.
I felt a weight lift from me. Putting so much energy into CARING was what kept me beaten down. No longer. I’m free.
Now, in 2019, I’m ready to affirm this new understanding in a word: confident. I appreciate your indulgence in my long post, but with this new knowledge and my new word, I am ready and excited and confident about what is to come.
Happy New Year!
It started at the age of 6...
After months of begging, Amelia’s father finally allowed her to press the shutter button on his Nikon. Photo taking was a weekly event for the family, especially on Sunday, which was family day. These days consisted of morning mass, a homecooked family meal, and a trip to the park, zoo, or any special attraction in the city. No matter what activities were chosen, it was documented through photographs. "As a child, I was marveled at the notion that you can stop time to revisit a specific time, place, and emotion in the future," says Amelia. “Photography is a medium that allowed it.”
Fashion Model to Photographer...
In addition to photography, Amelia admired fashion. Coming from three generations of seamstresses, you can say it's in her DNA. She learned about fabric textures, design, and style at an early age. Her mother, a pattern maker and seamstress, made most of her childhood clothes. Her father, stylish in his own right, instilled in her the importance of looking your best. "Image is everything," her father taught. When a photographer suggested she should become a fashion model, Amelia ran to the opportunity and from the age of 17 to 37, Amelia graced the runway stages and fashion houses in New Orleans, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, and eventually Atlanta.
Amelia is a Fashion, Portraits and Event photographer based in Atlanta. Her creative images have been featured in publications such as Sheen Magazine, I am JMariie, Heavy Rotation, and Rolling Out Magazine. She has exhibited her images at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Atlanta Fulton County Public Library, Hammonds House Museum, and other local businesses.
Amelia studied from the same photographers that photographed her during her twenty-year modeling career. She holds a MBA in Marketing, a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. Amelia frequents photographic workshops and discussions with other professional photographers to continue her growth as an artist. Plus, a long time member of Sistagraphy, a collective of African-American female photographers.
With a contemporary approach, Amelia strives to make timeless images. "Forget about the typical ‘smile.’ I look to capture the essence of each person." Her work is a mixture of editorial, artful, and creative portraiture. Her studio, located in Hampton, serves as a place for private shooting, but Amelia prefers to use natural lighting and backgrounds to capture one’s true essence. The option of Studio and Natural Lighting are available for any services. Each photo session is informal, relaxing, and unique. Clients will feel at ease as you receive gentle directions to compose natural poses that capture the real you.
